Orchestral Concert
There is the original, and then the “remix”. A new creation by post-minimalist composer Max Richter based on one of the greatest works from the classical repertoire. He suggested that his motivation was a desire to “lend a new charm” to Vivaldi’s Seasons, which in some ways had become worn by its own popularity. At the helm: the artist who performed the premiere in 2012 and recorded the work for Deutsche Grammophon, “all-terrain” violinist Daniel Hope.
